The countdown is on! We are absolutely thrilled to announce that House of Clay will be participating in our very first Third Friday next week, on Friday, July 18th! Get ready for an evening of art, community, and creativity right here in Overland Park.
For those new to the scene, Third Friday is a fantastic monthly art event where galleries, studios, and businesses specifically within Downtown Overland Park open their doors to showcase local talent, host special events, and create a vibrant cultural experience. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore the local art scene, discover new artists, and connect with your community right in the heart of OP.
What to Expect for Our First Third Friday at House of Clay!
We’re pulling out all the stops to make our studio a must-visit destination on July 18th, especially since it’s our debut! Step into the warm and inviting atmosphere of House of Clay and immerse yourself in the world of ceramics.
Here’s a taste of what you can expect when you stop by our studio:
- Open Studio & Demonstrations: See our wheels spinning and kilns glowing! We’ll have our studio open for you to explore, get a glimpse into our creative process, and perhaps even catch a live demonstration by one of our talented instructors or members. See clay transform right before your eyes!
- Meet Our Community: Chat with our instructors, members, and fellow clay enthusiasts. It’s a great chance to ask questions, get inspired, and feel the vibrant energy of our pottery family.
- Explore Unique Creations: Admire a selection of beautiful ceramic pieces created by our artists and students. Who knows, you might even find the perfect unique piece to take home!
- A Lively Atmosphere: Join us as we embrace the buzz of Third Friday for the very first time! We’re incredibly excited to be a part of this amazing Downtown Overland Park event and can’t wait to share our passion with you.
