Pottery & Pinot at House of Clay is a relaxed, beginner-friendly pottery experience in Overland Park, serving guests from throughout the Kansas City metro area. Whether you’re planning a date night, girls’ night out, birthday celebration, or simply looking for a creative activity with friends, you’ll enjoy a welcoming atmosphere and the satisfaction of making something by hand.

Looking for a fun night out in the Kansas City area?
Bring your favorite beverage and spend the evening creating a unique ceramic piece using simple hand-building techniques. Our instructors will guide you through the process step by step, making this experience approachable even if you’ve never worked with clay before.
After the event, we’ll bisque fire and clear glaze your pottery so it’s ready for pickup in about two weeks. Pottery & Pinot is a creative alternative to dinner, drinks, or a movie and a memorable way to spend time with friends, family, or someone special.

No. Pottery & Pinot is designed for beginners.
What should I bring?
Bring your favorite beer, wine, or non-alcoholic beverage. We’ll provide the clay, tools, instruction, and firing.
How long does Pottery & Pinot last?
Most sessions last 2 to 2½ hours.
When will my pottery be ready?
Pieces are typically ready for pickup about two weeks after the event.
